Olle Wiklund might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Grant Blacknell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olle Wiklund ran back to his position shaking his head. Grant Blacknell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olle Wiklund's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Grant Blacknell came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by RompePiernas FC's Tibor Berkes. But to his dismay, Tibor Berkes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Leicester Lions's Şükür Hagi got a free kick in the 13th minute. Grant Blacknell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olle Wiklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 21 minutes into the match, RompePiernas FC's goalkeeper Cyprian Trzenzalski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Will Patton. Grant Blacknell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olle Wiklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, RompePiernas FC's goalkeeper Cyprian Trzenzalski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Şükür Hagi. Cyprian Trzenzalski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şükür Hagi in the 28th minute of play. Cyprian Trzenzalski was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Şükür Hagi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Şükür Hagi really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. If Elpidio Jokin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 37th minute Şükür Hagi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyprian Trzenzalski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cyprian Trzenzalski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camron Rhodes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tony Cheeseman hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Leicester Lions's Cyprian Trzenzalski threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Şükür Hagi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Cyprian Trzenzalski guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After having played for 75 minutes, Şükür Hagi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leicester Lions's supporters crossed their fingers, but Şükür Hagi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 78 played minutes RompePiernas FC got a freekick which was hit by Deng Chao Xun. In the 79th minute Sebastien Clifford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyprian Trzenzalski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cyprian Trzenzalski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camron Rhodes, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Grant Blacknell came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by RompePiernas FC's Olle Wiklund. But to his dismay, Olle Wiklund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. RompePiernas FC's Saul Hitzeder was substituted for Deng Chao Xun. Leicester Lions made a substitution. Stu Hislop replaced Michal Budzyn. 93 minutes into the match, Will Patton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cyprian Trzenzalski. RompePiernas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Will Patton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. After 96 minutes, Denzil Howarth mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leicester Lions and the RompePiernas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 96th minute, Denzil Howarth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
