Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Slawomir Majak got the match started through his kick off. Slawomir Majak took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Karen FC's Ma Yong Jun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 15th minute of play. In the 19th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Mexico's Facundo Cadaval was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ma Yong Jun in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oskar Sandell's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Karen FC's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ma Yong Jun came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ma Yong Jun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Bai Yan Feng sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Oskar Sandell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Oskar Sandell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. Ma Yong Jun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, Karen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Facundo Cadaval came free, but Ma Yong Jun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Karen FC's Ma Yong Jun. Ma Yong Jun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ma Yong Jun. That made the score 1-2 after 70 minutes of play. Ma Yong Jun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 77th minute of play. Ma Yong Jun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 84th minute. Ma Yong Jun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 88th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ma Yong Jun quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Arvin Svanberg kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Ma Yong Jun made a huge save. Mexico played a much better game than Karen FC and deserved their victory. The Karen FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
