Zbigniew Brudzisz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The throw-in from Tytus Jajesniak in the 12th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by The Underdogs's Emil Kyurpanov. Zbigniew Brudzisz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dolf Schoonderwoerd, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Wang Hong Le scored 1-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan Wessel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zbigniew Brudzisz made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Dolf Schoonderwoerd sent off a good shot on target. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dolf Schoonderwoerd stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
