Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Bartosz Komanski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 5th minute of the match. Yara Poland's Alberto Usuriaga got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Yara Poland's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Bartosz Komanski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bartosz Komanski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute of play. In the 23rd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Yara Poland's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Yara Poland's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Bartosz Komanski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 25th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Ecuador's Luis Andino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bartosz Komanski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Juan Sebastián Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 30 minutes into the match, Yara Poland's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Bartosz Komanski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Yara Poland's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Bartosz Komanski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Bartosz Komanski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bartosz Komanski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Jaroslaw Kaczynski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. John Carew could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Usuriaga in the 53rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Daniel Zorita took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Bartosz Komanski to make any attempt to save it. When Jaroslaw Kaczynski came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Yara Poland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaroslaw Kaczynski couldn't finish the play. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th match minute, Yara Poland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Carew to maneuver through the defense. Edward Szpakowski kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Agustín Saelices managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Agustín Saelices was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bartosz Komanski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alberto Usuriaga charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alberto Usuriaga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Primitivo Andino hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Fanøe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Alberto Usuriaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 95th playminute.
