Colombia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Claudio Caniggia ran over to the corner to take the kick. Claudio Caniggia made a great header on 【E ➣15 de Julio 2009's corner, it was just that Colombia's Pedro Manzanares managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 17th match minute, 【E ➣15 de Julio 2009 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Caniggia to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Manzanares had great luck who in the 41stth minute grab hold of the ball when Diego Millrick from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After 42 minutes Colombia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Claudio Caniggia who took care of the corner kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Orlando Tafalla hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave Efrayim in the 59th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abram Sarmiento in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marta Pressley saved 【E ➣15 de Julio 2009 from getting behind. 69 minutes into the match, 【E ➣15 de Julio 2009's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Marta Pressley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dave Efrayim took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dave Efrayim in the 86th minute of the match. With his leg Marta Pressley managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Colombia's Abram Secada fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Abram Secada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Marta Pressley made a huge save. In the 90th minute, Colombia's Abram Secada dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. Marta Pressley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 93rd minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by 【E ➣15 de Julio 2009's Dave Efrayim. But to his dismay, Dave Efrayim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2.
