After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 7th minute. If Silverio Medardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind TALLERES's goalkeeper Iker Medina, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert got a free kick in the 15th minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bennvar Björnfot in the 16th minute of play. In the 21st minute, TALLERES's Bennvar Björnfot ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 24 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Maciej Karwowski came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Camilo Gaos fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Camilo Gaos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of Venezuela:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of TALLERES:s goal. Jonathan Ferrant went to the wrong direction when Alvaro Lop was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After having played for 45 minutes, Felix Nuxila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TALLERES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Nuxila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 48 minutes, Alex Chicote mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the TALLERES players grew even worse after the yellow card. The goalkeeper, Jonathan Ferrant, was totally fooled by TALLERES's Alvaro Lop, who 50 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silverio Medardo to strike the kick off in the second half. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 63rd minute of play forced TALLERES's goalkeeper Iker Medina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by TALLERES's Silverio Medardo. But to his dismay, Silverio Medardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 69 minutes into the game, Maciej Karwowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by TALLERES's Silverio Medardo. But to his dismay, Silverio Medardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. In the 76th minute, Silverio Medardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TALLERES fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Iker Medina made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, TALLERES's Iker Medina got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 89 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When TALLERES's Silverio Medardo in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Venezuela's goalie and right to Jose Katia. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Venezuela's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silverio Medardo in the 96th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 98 played minutes TALLERES got a freekick which was hit by Pancho Roca.
