Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) U21 Spain's Severiano Gutierrez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Claudio Aznar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Gutierrez in the 6th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severiano Gutierrez in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudio Aznar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 8 minutes into the match, U21 Spain's Viviano Soto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claudio Aznar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Andrei Gil got a free kick in the 17th minute. Claudio Aznar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severiano Gutierrez in the 21st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Viviano Soto got free with Claudio Aznar in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Claudio Aznar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severiano Gutierrez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudio Aznar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Gutierrez, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severiano Gutierrez got free with Claudio Aznar in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Josu Pabon kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. A collision led to Club Deportivo O IRIXO getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Dacio Lara hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Dacio Lara made in the 54th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Andrei Gil. 57 minutes into the match, U21 Spain's goalkeeper Xilo Aguilo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez. In the 59th minute, Severiano Gutierrez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 61st minute Severiano Gutierrez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Aznar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Etxatxu De Pablo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Claudio Aznar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
