After 5 played minutes U21 Spain got a freekick which was hit by Etxatxu De Pablo. A collision led to Club Deportivo O IRIXO getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Fermín Trujillo hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severiano Gutierrez in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudio Aznar saved Club Deportivo O IRIXO from getting behind. Claudio Aznar was a little too slow when Viviano Soto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-0. Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Claudio Aznar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Club Deportivo O IRIXO from getting a goal against them. Severiano Gutierrez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudio Aznar having to make a save. Oriol Agulló fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Aznar having to interfere. Severiano Gutierrez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Claudio Aznar made a huge save. Claudio Aznar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Gutierrez, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Severiano Gutierrez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Claudio Aznar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The wind increased when Andrei Gil made the kick off in the second half. Xilo Aguilo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrei Gil in the 51st minute of the match. U21 Spain's Xilo Aguilo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save U21 Spain from getting a goal against them. Severiano Gutierrez took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claudio Aznar. Claudio Aznar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 60 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo O IRIXO's goal looked a bit too open when Severiano Gutierrez came free, but Claudio Aznar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Club Deportivo O IRIXO defense, Severiano Gutierrez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudio Aznar. The Club Deportivo O IRIXO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudio Aznar should have stopped the shot. U21 Spain's Pere Montaña was substituted for Severiano Gutierrez. Claudio Aznar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Galo Campos in the 66th minute of the match. Claudio Aznar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pere Montaña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Andrei Gil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudio Aznar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. U21 Spain's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Oriol Agulló in the 81st minute. The corner ended in Oriol Agulló almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Claudio Aznar did a great save. Claudio Aznar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Galo Campos in the 84th minute of play. In the 89thth minute of the game Pere Montaña who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Claudio Aznar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Claudio Aznar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Landolfo Quevedo went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. Pacorro Casas's late challenge caught a Club Deportivo O IRIXO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pacorro Casas helped the player get up and apologised. Pacorro Casas kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After 94 played minutes U21 Spain got a freekick which was hit by Leobardo Briso. Xilo Aguilo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrei Gil, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
