After 5 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Zorita. 7 minutes into the match, Flatline Zombies's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Armağan Mukremin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armağan Mukremin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 11th minute of play. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Seco's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Lautaro Mancebo scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armağan Mukremin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flatline Zombies's Armağan Mukremin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 22nd minute of play. The supporters of Flatline Zombies booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Rouco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Seco in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Seco in the 27th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Georg Gustavsson sent off a good shot on target. Axel Della Rossa succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 34th playminute. The supporters of Mexico booed when Flatline Zombies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Rindlisbacher didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armağan Mukremin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Flatline Zombies's zone, Luca Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armağan Mukremin came out of the goal and Luca Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armağan Mukremin having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulo Seco was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Flatline Zombies defense, Alberto Tafalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armağan Mukremin. The Flatline Zombies fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armağan Mukremin should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 58th minute of play forced Flatline Zombies's goalkeeper Armağan Mukremin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Felix Luque got a free kick in the 61st minute. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Kalb in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Flatline Zombies were awarded a corner. Finn Neeser went to the cornerflag to take it. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Kalb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armağan Mukremin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Kalb in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Paulo Seco made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. 80 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Liborius Müller came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Liborius Müller spun around in front of the goal 80 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Mexico's goal. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Liborius Müller's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Liborius Müller took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. 88 minutes into the match, Flatline Zombies's goalkeeper Armağan Mukremin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xie Chuan Guang during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 90th minute, Xie Chuan Guang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Flatline Zombies booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Gaona didn't get a good kick on the ball.
