After 9 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armağan Mukremin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Armağan Mukremin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Flatline Zombies's Armağan Mukremin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 44th minute of play. If Guillermo Fontirroig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Lacasa was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Seco in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chile's Mariano Lacasa got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Kalb in the 57th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flatline Zombies made a substitution. Edmondo Conti replaced Levent Erkinay. Flatline Zombies's Armağan Mukremin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Flatline Zombies from getting a goal against them. Flatline Zombies's Armağan Mukremin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Flatline Zombies's goalkeeper Armağan Mukremin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armağan Mukremin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 92nd minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armağan Mukremin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-5. Armağan Mukremin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Chile eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
