Tõnis Kaldvee had several of the Venezuela's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 15 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Jonathan Ferrant as he didn't even see the shot coming. Joshua Secada kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kajar Püss in the 20th minute of play. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Grimório's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. Tomas Illescas made a great header on Venezuela's corner, it was just that Grimório's Wawrzyniec Niedziela managed to reach the ball for a save. Wawrzyniec Niedziela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 26th minute of play. In the 61st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kajar Püss, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grimório's Joel Lüüs was substituted for Renaud Van de Put. Grimório's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kajar Püss in the 69th minute. The corner led to Grimório's Konrad Värnik getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alo Ülipikk, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Alo Ülipikk notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Grimório had played much better football throughout.
