The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 8 minutes into the match, Ekber Merdan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Karl Martin Bell Burnell, 1-0. A throw-in in the 13th minute of the game was made by Hortêncio Donatello with Silvinho Meira as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 17 minutes into the match, Alvinegro de Tupã's goalkeeper Karl Martin Bell Burnell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ekber Merdan. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Recai Garipbaş in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vintilă Murgu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 26 minutes The Huns's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Deng Shu Kuan who took care of the corner kick. Armandinho de Andrade was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Alvinegro de Tupã's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Ekber Merdan scored to the left of an out of position Karl Martin Bell Burnell, making the score, 2-0. Scott Martindale kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. In the 48th minute, Scott Martindale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aníbal Leal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aníbal Leal got free with Vintilă Murgu in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th match minute, The Huns was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Ghionea to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Recai Garipbaş in the 64th minute of play forced The Huns's goalkeeper Vintilă Murgu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Arí Mello in the 65th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by The Huns's Scott Martindale. After a rather tough play, Alvinegro de Tupã's Aníbal Leal got a free kick in the 66th minute. Alvinegro de Tupã made a substitution. Rashad Bartlett replaced Hílton Pernambucano. The supporters of The Huns booed when Alvinegro de Tupã was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aníbal Leal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alvinegro de Tupã's Arí Mello managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Scott Martindale in the 71 minute of the game. If Andre Huyterhoeven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl Martin Bell Burnell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ekber Merdan's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Alvinegro de Tupã's Karl Martin Bell Burnell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ekber Merdan in the 79th minute of play. Ekber Merdan scored 3-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karl Martin Bell Burnell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Karl Martin Bell Burnell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ekber Merdan in the 88th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Alvinegro de Tupã's Recai Garipbaş ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vintilă Murgu. Vintilă Murgu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1.
