Tayfur Demir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nano Boninski. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Thiago Pliego as he didn't even see the shot coming. Nejat Bahçeli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Todor Mitrashkov's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. After 17 minutes Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Resul Türev who took care of the corner kick. In the 18th minute Aslangücü were awarded a corner. Resul Türev went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Resul Türev got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Thiago Pliego quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Aslangücü's Todor Mitrashkov was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 27th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Tayfur Demir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd match minute, Aslangücü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fevzi Bucuk to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the game, Sertaç Oytunç threw the ball into play from the sideline. Chile's Alan Tamayo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Tayfur Demir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 36th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Todor Mitrashkov made a kick off. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nejat Bahçeli in the 51st minute of play. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aslangücü's goalkeeper Tayfur Demir, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 97th minute Todor Mitrashkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aslangücü's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
