Costel Juverdeanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Peretu City 09's Iurie Guriță managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Leonardo Leoz in the 34 minute of the game. Alberto Tafalla took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Costel Juverdeanu. Costel Juverdeanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The supporters of Peretu City 09 booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Luque didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adam Băsescu charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adam Băsescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 44 played minutes Peretu City 09 got a freekick which was hit by Calistrat Carabulea. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Lautaro Mancebo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 51stth minute tested the skills of Costel Juverdeanu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 55th minute, Alberto Tafalla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. In the 65th match minute, Peretu City 09 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grigore Șeicaru to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Costel Juverdeanu in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peretu City 09's Costel Juverdeanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Peretu City 09 from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Alberto Tafalla could shoot a difficult shot in the 68th minute, which Costel Juverdeanu however easily saved by the left post. With his leg Costel Juverdeanu managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Peretu City 09's Costel Juverdeanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Peretu City 09 from getting a goal against them. In the 75th minute, Lautaro Mancebo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Costel Juverdeanu. The goal made the score 0-7. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Costel Juverdeanu came out and tried to block the shot, but Lautaro Mancebo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 79th minute. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lautaro Mancebo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Costel Juverdeanu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Costel Juverdeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Costel Juverdeanu didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-9 in the ordered_time% minute. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
