Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marquez Padolles started the match with the kick off. Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Alvaro Rudolfo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Alberto Tafalla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alvaro Rudolfo having to make a save. Felix Luque kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Márk Sári hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Evaristo Montenegro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Alvaro Rudolfo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 41st minute, Lorenzo Cazalla had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Evaristo Montenegro's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evaristo Montenegro helped the player get up and apologised. Mexico made a substitution. Jonathan Atenas replaced Lorenzo Cazalla. After a rather tough play, Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Artur Laguna got a free kick in the 44th minute. Joel Gaona was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 44th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. Luca Zorita took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alvaro Rudolfo. Alvaro Rudolfo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Montenegro in the 58th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Romero came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marquez Padolles, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Alvaro Rudolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Zorita in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alvaro Rudolfo. Alvaro Rudolfo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. 77 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Thor Machado came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Carlos Eduardo Dracena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute, Artur Laguna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Marquez Padolles came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Alvaro Rudolfo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Coritiba Foot Ball Club from getting a goal against them. 96 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Montenegro came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Coritiba Foot Ball Club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
