Cipriano Proença fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baltasar Frasquito in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 92nd minute of the game Lv Nan Ke made a throw-in which Baltasar Frasquito played forward. When Ayaz Aydın fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nevşehirspor's protests and gave Ayaz Aydın a yellow card for diving instead. After 94 played minutes Nevşehirspor got a freekick which was hit by Ayaz Aydın. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Colombia eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
