AFC FUSION's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmundo Espiga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 13 minutes in the game Nicolas Tagliafico did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Carmelo Brais. A collision led to AFC FUSION getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Marco Lorien hit a great ball. In the 21st minute Sebastian Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carolo Isidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carolo Isidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moises Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. Leonel Gonsalve hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The supporters of AFC FUSION booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmundo Espiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honduras's attentive Luca Espinar managed to snatch the ball when Nicolas Tagliafico made a throw-in in the 34th minute of the game. Carlos Ishmael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Villa in the 40th minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Carolo Isidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, AFC FUSION's Ciro Lando got a free kick in the 41st minute. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Lorien, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Brais in the 52nd minute of play. After having played for 56 minutes, Moises Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76th minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Moises Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carolo Isidor having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Ciro Lando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A sloppy throw-in by Nicolas Tagliafico in the 87th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Christian Sancho. The crowd rose to their feet as Christian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carolo Isidor. That made the score 0-2 in the 88 minute of play. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Carolo Isidor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Honduras left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than AFC FUSION.
