With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 8th minute Valerio Spadoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ariel Mourelatos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After 15 minutes, Cassius Byrne made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Amboy FC's Ariel Mourelatos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Modestio in the 20th minute of play. If Valerio Spadoni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valerio Spadoni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Ruperto Modestio kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruperto Modestio in the 29th minute of the match. Marco Day was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Ruperto Modestio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ruperto Modestio really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. 34 minutes into the match, Amboy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Ariel Mourelatos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Jacinto Naelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Modestio in the 60th minute of play. After some careless play in the USA defense, Valerio Spadoni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Day. The USA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Day should have stopped the shot. Amboy FC made a substitution. Zacarias Goleš replaced Valerio Spadoni. Amboy FC's Nicanor Mendiko was substituted for Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán. Ariel Mourelatos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 67th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacarias Goleš in the 72nd minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
