Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İskender Baki Sabi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Joshua Garrido in the 4th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Racing Club's Joaquin Uxio. İskender Baki Sabi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedro Manzanares came out and tried to block the shot, but İskender Baki Sabi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. In the 9th minute İskender Baki Sabi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Racing Club getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Edmond Suetens hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Olavo Henriques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Antonio Indiano came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Indiano couldn't finish the play. In the 17thth minute of the game İskender Baki Sabi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. İskender Baki Sabi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 20 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Olavo Henriques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olavo Henriques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Olavo Henriques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 40th minute of the match. Racing Club's Olavo Henriques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santino Seco in the 43rd minute of play. Racing Club's İskender Baki Sabi got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Abram Sarmiento made the kick off in the second half. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İskender Baki Sabi in the 52nd minute of the match. Racing Club's Olavo Henriques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santino Seco in the 53rd minute of play. Olavo Henriques was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Axel Montenegro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Axel Montenegro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Racing Club's Olavo Henriques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Carballar in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, George Orwel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that George Orwel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Racing Club's Fermin Hibai was substituted for Maksymilian Walaszkiewicz. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Orwel in the 73rd minute of the match. Antonio Indiano made in the 74th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Racing Club's Joaquin Uxio. After 76 minutes, George Orwel made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ignacio Mastache struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Olavo Henriques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colombia. 85 minutes into the match, George Orwel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that George Orwel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Ignacio Mastache took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olavo Henriques. Olavo Henriques dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Marcos Alonso lost his temper 91 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of Colombia booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Alonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Colombia's Kevin Mastache sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Olavo Henriques narrowly saved just below the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Colombia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Racing Club.
