Firma Barnängen's Rune Söder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 11th minute of play. Rune Söder stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felix Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Alcaraz came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Firma Barnängen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Humberto Alcaraz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Firma Barnängen support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
