Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. Alberto Tafalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victoriano Abel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lautaro Mancebo in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victoriano Abel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th minute Per Rolandsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jo Blanchaert in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Average Joes's Victoriano Abel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 28th minute of play. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Jo Blanchaert tried to sneak it across the goal line. Victoriano Abel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 31st minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Average Joes's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Victoriano Abel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Average Joes getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Martin Morat hit a great ball. Victoriano Abel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 41st minute of the match. 0-1 became the score in the 43rd minute when Alberto Tafalla elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The Average Joes players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Per Rolandsson made a kick off. The supporters of Mexico booed when Average Joes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Flink didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 55 minutes, Martin Morat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Average Joes and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. Martin Morat hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After having played for 56 minutes, Facundo Cadaval managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Facundo Cadaval was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Victoriano Abel in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Victoriano Abel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Mancebo went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Victoriano Abel made a huge save. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Luca Rouco hit a great ball. Victoriano Abel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Average Joes's Mattias Finnman was substituted for Jo Blanchaert. Average Joes's Filipp Krupatkih was substituted for Martin Morat. In the 72nd minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Average Joes's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Average Joes made a substitution. Jeremias Silban replaced Per Rolandsson. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yavuz Bülent Özger during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 79 played minutes Average Joes got a freekick which was hit by Yavuz Bülent Özger. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Victoriano Abel. That made the score 0-3 after 85 minutes of play. Luca Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Victoriano Abel came out and tried to block the shot, but Luca Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 93rd minute. The Average Joes fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
