Oğuzkan Kamuran kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Adrien Tanneau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of play forced Valette Stars's goalkeeper Adrien Tanneau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafail Rusev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Valette Stars's Rafail Rusev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 24th minute, Primitivo Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute, Rafail Rusev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Valette Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Adrien Tanneau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Maurice Crochard got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. 41 minutes into the match, Valette Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Adrien Tanneau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 42nd minute of play forced Valette Stars's goalkeeper Adrien Tanneau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Luis Andino managed to work through Valette Stars's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Luis Andino dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 44 minutes into the match, Guillaume Chaine notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Valette Stars's Rafail Rusev got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valette Stars made a substitution. Dan Pruvot replaced Pierre-Antoine Landemaine. In the 65th minute Guillaume Chaine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Primitivo Andino made in the 66th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Daniel Zorita immediately put the ball in play. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 71st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Adrien Tanneau could save by the left post. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 72nd minute. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Adrien Tanneau despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After having played for 78 minutes, Guillaume Chaine managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valette Stars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillaume Chaine was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adrien Tanneau was a little too slow when Cristian Sancho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 1-2. Adrien Tanneau made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Adrien Tanneau made a huge save. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillaume Chaine in the 87th minute of the match. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute Rafail Rusev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Valette Stars.
