Bolivia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ioseba Gonzalvez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. An unexpected shot in the 23rd minute by Ioseba Gonzalvez got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Bolivia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Waldemar Frænkel scored to the left of an out of position Camilo Freixa, making the score, 2-0. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldemar Frænkel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Ioseba Gonzalvez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Camilo Freixa. That made the score 3-0 in the 39 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Waldemar Frænkel made the kick off in the second half. Absalon Berritsgård struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Camilo Freixa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 20 de Março FC. 55 minutes into the game, Jens-Åke Pedersson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Camilo Freixa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 58th minute, Ioseba Gonzalvez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 20 de Março FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. 62 minutes into the match, Waldemar Frænkel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Camilo Freixa. The supporters of 20 de Março FC booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Gallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Constantin Pãduret was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 69th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Camilo Freixa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Absalon Berritsgård made a precise shot to the right of Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Absalon Berritsgård received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Camilo Freixa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eduardo Fontirroig kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
