Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Emili Lean sent off a good shot on target. After 19 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. In the 25th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erivaldo Hermes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, O MOTIVO ⚽'s goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Erivaldo Hermes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Daniel Bertoni got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 2-0. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yan Penha to strike the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Bertoni in the 51st minute of play. Rigoberto Mina's late challenge caught a O MOTIVO ⚽'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rigoberto Mina helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see O MOTIVO ⚽'s Cesinha Baptista in action when he in the 56th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 61st minute. When Guillermo Mariano fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Guillermo Mariano a yellow card for diving instead. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrew Murillo in the 79th minute of play. With a little luck, O MOTIVO ⚽'s Erivaldo Hermes got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Bertoni in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erivaldo Hermes made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. When the referee ended the match the O MOTIVO ⚽ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
