Ciro Cortez scored 1-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carel Van de Schrieck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Carel Van de Schrieck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zachary Snaza, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The FC Ruscova fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when FC Ruscova's Zachary Snaza looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 35 minutes into the match, Zachary Snaza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carel Van de Schrieck. Café DE PLOEG's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zachary Snaza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. But to his dismay, Ciro Cortez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. The Café DE PLOEG players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Ruscova were winning 1-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ciro Cortez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carel Van de Schrieck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zachary Snaza in the 53rd minute. In the 56th match minute, Café DE PLOEG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliver Dejonckheere to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Cortez in the 62nd minute of play forced Café DE PLOEG's goalkeeper Carel Van de Schrieck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciro Cortez in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carel Van de Schrieck saved Café DE PLOEG from getting behind. FC Ruscova's Umur Renan was substituted for Marcu Iovan. The supporters of FC Ruscova booed when Café DE PLOEG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. 龚康松 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oliver Dejonckheere made in the 87th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Ruscova's Glauco Motta. In the 90th minute, Umur Renan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carel Van de Schrieck was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. After 94 minutes of play, Café DE PLOEG's Ludwig Kloots made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Helmuth Duckadam was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Ruscova eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
