Igor Milko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rodriguinho Sousa having to make a save. 4 minutes into the match, ATHLETICO PRaiano's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Milko came free, but Rodriguinho Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ralf Albäck succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 6th playminute. A sloppy throw-in by Gu Zhan Cheng in the 9th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Brandon Norton. After a defensive mix-up in ATHLETICO PRaiano's zone, Dagoberto Moraes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodriguinho Sousa came out of the goal and Dagoberto Moraes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When ATHLETICO PRaiano's Ralf Albäck, in the 14th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for ATHLETICO PRaiano. Valentin Bernal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ralf Albäck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Ralf Albäck came free, but Valentin Bernal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dagoberto Moraes in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodriguinho Sousa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as ATHLETICO PRaiano's Deilmison van Basten slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Valentin Bernal. That made the score 2-0 after 20 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Deilmison van Basten got free with Valentin Bernal in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With 26 minutes on the clock, Gilson Matorin commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 26 minutes into the game, one of Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Valentin Bernal, was totally fooled by ATHLETICO PRaiano's Deilmison van Basten, who 27 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 30 played minutes Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Soin Buisan. 30 minutes into the match, Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's goalkeeper Valentin Bernal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Deilmison van Basten. Deilmison van Basten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dagoberto Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Valentin Bernal made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Deilmison van Basten sent off a good shot on target. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Valentin Bernal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralf Albäck in the 40th minute of play. Soin Buisan hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Igor Milko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Deilmison van Basten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valentin Bernal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. In the 57th match minute, Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dagoberto Moraes to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Heintje Koehler hit a great ball. Valentin Bernal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralf Albäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 74th minute Deilmison van Basten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Bernal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Cayetano Monico took a quick shot and it went in 6-1 without a chance for Rodriguinho Sousa to make any attempt to save it. In the 87th minute, Cayetano Monico left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-2.
