Durval Nascimento hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Prospero Perfecto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Joinville United - FSCMZ's Mané Lara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nilson Peres narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 20th minute of the match Joinville United - FSCMZ got a corner. ITAFUT 4EVER's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Prospero Perfecto ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Prospero Perfecto almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ITAFUT 4EVER's Nilson Peres did a great save. Borys Gruchacz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Sand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Sand in the 24th minute of play forced Joinville United - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Borys Gruchacz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ITAFUT 4EVER's attentive Marquinhos Best managed to snatch the ball when Pinchas Man made a throw-in in the 26th minute of the game. Robert Arboleda made in the 28th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by José Sand. Nilson Peres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mané Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nilson Peres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Didi Cardozo in the 43rd minute of play. In the 47th minute, José Sand got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Mané Lara made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Joinville United - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Guilherme Joinvilense hit a great ball. Joinville United - FSCMZ's Borys Gruchacz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Sand in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of Joinville United - FSCMZ booed when ITAFUT 4EVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Borys Gruchacz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Alesandro Coutinho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Nilson Peres when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 93 minutes of play, ITAFUT 4EVER's Jardel Baggio made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Borys Gruchacz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Borys Gruchacz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jardel Baggio, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ITAFUT 4EVER fans cheered their team off the field, for while Joinville United - FSCMZ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
