Rodriguinho Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso da Cunha in the 14th minute of the match. Ludomil Ziomkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deilmison van Basten in the 16th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Deilmison van Basten in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ludomil Ziomkowski saved CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ from getting behind. Rodriguinho Sousa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Afonso da Cunha went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Afonso da Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Liviu Terzian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Afonso da Cunha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rodriguinho Sousa having to make a save. In the 35th minute, Afonso da Cunha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodriguinho Sousa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Ludomil Ziomkowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. Afonso da Cunha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodriguinho Sousa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Rodriguinho Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso da Cunha in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Gu Zhan Cheng was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ATHLETICO PRaiano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ the free kick.

The wind increased when Afonso da Cunha made the kick off in the second half. Liviu Terzian came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rodriguinho Sousa could save by the left post. In the 56th minute CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ were awarded a corner. Gustavo da Silva went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Liviu Terzian managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. If Afonso da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Rodriguinho Sousa threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Afonso da Cunha, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, ATHLETICO PRaiano's Rodriguinho Sousa got control of the ball when Liviu Terzian tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ludomil Ziomkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deilmison van Basten, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. A collision led to CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Sahnoyan Ayyıldız hit a great ball. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ made a substitution. Breno Torres replaced Emanuele Bertoni. In the 72nd minute, Vitor Beckenbauer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Gustavo da Silva in the 72nd minute really tested Rodriguinho Sousa's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Unax Mudarra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso da Cunha in the 78th minute of play forced ATHLETICO PRaiano's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Afonso da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rodriguinho Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein in the 81st minute of the match. But to his dismay, Ralf Albäck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Denílson Magalhães kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein in the 96th minute of play forced ATHLETICO PRaiano's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
