Gabriel Vinhas struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Vitor Cordoba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Relyn Futebol Clube. A sloppy throw-in by Fang Yong Qiang in the 20th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Relyn Futebol Clube's Oséias Correia. After 21 played minutes Litoral EC - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Fang Yong Qiang. A collision led to Relyn Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Juarês Pontes hit a great ball. After 25 played minutes, Litoral EC - CIMZ's Jonathan Petri shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gino Velasco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Litoral EC - CIMZ reached it. Gino Velasco came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Litoral EC - CIMZ's Joseph Joestar. But to his dismay, Joseph Joestar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Petri in the 41st minute of play forced Relyn Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Gino Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Fang Yong Qiang fired away an extremely well hit free kick, but unfortunately the ball went just outside to the right hand side of Gino Velasco. Litoral EC - CIMZ's Vitor Cordoba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Vinhas in the 48th minute of play. 50 minutes had been played when some careless play by Litoral EC - CIMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Romeo Cangeopol was slow to take the kick. During this time Relyn Futebol Clube's players had a chance to rest. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joseph Joestar was the one to do the kick off. Jonathan Petri hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Vitor Cordoba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel Vinhas's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Gino Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joseph Joestar in the 71st minute of play. Litoral EC - CIMZ's William Batista was substituted for Sílvio Luís Madureira. Relyn Futebol Clube's Abraham Knol was substituted for Michael Åkerström. Litoral EC - CIMZ's Andreas Iniesta was substituted for Dagoberto Custódio. Relyn Futebol Clube's Ademar Meirelles was substituted for Walter Samuel. Relyn Futebol Clube made a substitution. Genaro Valdemoro replaced Qu Jun Fan. After 98 minutes, Raimundo Faria mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Relyn Futebol Clube and the Litoral EC - CIMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card.
