Jeremias Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Vinhas in the 5th minute of play. Malcolm Westerberg made in the 10th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Relyn Futebol Clube's Qu Jun Fan. 13 minutes into the match, Relyn Futebol Clube's Gabriel Vinhas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeremias Moreno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Relyn Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Gino Velasco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Relyn Futebol Clube's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Áron Bódog was slow to take the kick. During this time ADM Taquaras's players had a chance to rest. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Gabriel Vinhas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Relyn Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Vinhas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeremias Moreno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Bierhoff in the 22nd minute of play forced Relyn Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Gino Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gino Velasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Bierhoff, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 28th match minute, Relyn Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro de Lara to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Bierhoff in the 29th minute of play forced Relyn Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Gino Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramiro de Lara made in the 36th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Magno Diniz immediately put the ball in play. After having played for 41 minutes, Oliver Bierhoff managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ADM Taquaras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oliver Bierhoff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Relyn Futebol Clube's attentive Ramiro de Lara managed to snatch the ball when Cléber Palmeira made a throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game. ADM Taquaras's Malcolm Westerberg managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ramiro de Lara in the 46 minute of the game. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

ADM Taquaras made a substitution. Denílson Tepedino replaced Oliver Bierhoff. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Denílson Tepedino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Qu Jun Fan kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. When Áron Bódog came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the ADM Taquaras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Áron Bódog couldn't finish the play. Jeremias Moreno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Vinhas in the 57th minute. In the 60thth minute of the game Denílson Tepedino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Relyn Futebol Clube's Gino Velasco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 62nd minute Denílson Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gino Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gino Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denílson Tepedino in the 72nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Denílson Tepedino in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gino Velasco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 73 minutes Relyn Futebol Clube's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Áron Bódog who took care of the corner kick. ADM Taquaras's Denílson Tepedino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gino Velasco in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some careless play in the Relyn Futebol Clube defense, Denílson Tepedino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gino Velasco. The Relyn Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gino Velasco should have stopped the shot. Gino Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Soeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the game, Áron Bódog cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Gino Velasco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raimundo Faria during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Relyn Futebol Clube's Raimundo Faria got a free kick in the 97th minute. In the 98th minute, Áron Bódog made a precise shot to the right of Gino Velasco. Relyn Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. When the referee ended the match the ADM Taquaras players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
