Relyn Futebol Clube's Ramiro de Lara managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gaétan Govou in the 20 minute of the game. In the 22nd minute of the match Relyn Futebol Clube got a corner. ATHLETICO PRaiano's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Romeo Cangeopol ran over to the corner to take the kick. Relyn Futebol Clube's Raimundo Faria was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rodriguinho Sousa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Rodriguinho Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Vinhas in the 57th minute of play. Rodriguinho Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Vinhas in the 63rd minute of play. Ramiro de Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Relyn Futebol Clube made a substitution. Abraham Knol replaced Michael Åkerström. After a rather tough play, Relyn Futebol Clube's Ramiro de Lara got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Gino Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deilmison van Basten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Deilmison van Basten came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the ATHLETICO PRaiano fans jumped to their feet. The supporters of Relyn Futebol Clube booed when ATHLETICO PRaiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position.
