Ludomil Ziomkowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. But to his dismay, Afonso da Cunha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. A throw-in in the 31st minute of the game was made by Eustacio Ikatz with Afonso da Cunha as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Mané Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mané Lara in the 34th minute of play forced CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Ludomil Ziomkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mané Lara in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ludomil Ziomkowski saved CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ from getting behind. Borys Gruchacz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso da Cunha in the 40th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Afonso da Cunha notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Joinville United - FSCMZ's Borys Gruchacz. Borys Gruchacz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Mané Lara made the kick off in the second half. Borys Gruchacz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso da Cunha in the 60th minute of play. Ludomil Ziomkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Osmond, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Afonso da Cunha got free with Borys Gruchacz in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mané Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ludomil Ziomkowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ made a substitution. Breno Torres replaced Emanuele Bertoni. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Gustavo da Silva was substituted for Virgiawan Laturua. Joinville United - FSCMZ's Maurício Donatello was substituted for Mané Lara. Ludomil Ziomkowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maurício Donatello went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Ludomil Ziomkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurício Donatello in the 93rd minute of the match. After 95 played minutes CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Breno Torres. In the 96thth minute of the game Maurício Donatello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Ludomil Ziomkowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joinville United - FSCMZ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
