In the 7th minute of the match, Esteban Vadillos got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gino Velasco was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Raimundo Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gino Velasco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Belo Alvarez in the 14th minute. Belo Alvarez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Gino Velasco made a huge save. A.D. Alcorcón were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Relyn Futebol Clube's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nereo Acosta took the corner. The supporters of Relyn Futebol Clube booed when A.D. Alcorcón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nereo Acosta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erlantz Bermejos short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Gino Velasco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Relyn Futebol Clube's Gino Velasco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Relyn Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Relyn Futebol Clube's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nereo Acosta was slow to take the kick. During this time A.D. Alcorcón's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Nereo Acosta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Relyn Futebol Clube's Gino Velasco did a great save. When Gabriel Vinhas came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Relyn Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Vinhas couldn't finish the play. The referee gave Relyn Futebol Clube a penalty, 43 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Romeo Cangeopol, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena. 0-1. After the first half Relyn Futebol Clube were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabriel Vinhas to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Belo Alvarez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gino Velasco was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Raimundo Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurino Serena having to interfere. Gabriel Vinhas struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Maurino Serena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Relyn Futebol Clube. A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Vinhas in the 89th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Laurin Mangas in the 92nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Relyn Futebol Clube's Ramiro de Lara. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Relyn Futebol Clube had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
