With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Ulan Bator Football Club's Jérémy Doku fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Ball Packert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jérémy Doku in the 15th minute of play. After 16 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stephan Vanneste who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Ulan Bator Football Club's Jérémy Doku to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ball Packert was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. In the 29th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ball Packert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 34th minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 36th minute of the match, Jérémy Doku tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 41 minutes into the match, Ulan Bator Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Ball Packert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ball Packert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 43rd minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jérémy Doku stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After 57 minutes of play, Ulan Bator Football Club's Stephan Vanneste made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ulan Bator Football Club.
