But to his dismay, Orkun Kotuz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Honduras's Christian Sancho quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Birdal Başkurt, made in the 27th minute of the game. Birdal Başkurt kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. When Yiğit Elhan fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TR - UYANIŞ KIZILELMA -'s protests and gave Yiğit Elhan a yellow card for diving instead. Edmundo Espiga took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Akif Eğriöz. TR - UYANIŞ KIZILELMA -'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Halit Ziya Akaltan came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kasım Bakkalbaşıoğlu. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Halit Ziya Akaltan made the kick off in the second half. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orkun Kotuz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to TR - UYANIŞ KIZILELMA - getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Kasım Bakkalbaşıoğlu hit a great ball. With a little luck, TR - UYANIŞ KIZILELMA -'s Akif Eğriöz got control of the ball when Edmundo Espiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 55th minute Corentin Deudon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Edmundo Espiga took a quick shot and it went in 4-2 without a chance for Akif Eğriöz to make any attempt to save it. Halit Ziya Akaltan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Halit Ziya Akaltan in the 71st minute of play. Emanuel Ocampo lost his temper 73 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 77 minutes of play, TR - UYANIŞ KIZILELMA -'s Halit Ziya Akaltan made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! 80 minutes into the game, Birdal Başkurt threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Sebastian Villa might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Akif Eğriöz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Villa ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Villa in the 84th minute of play forced TR - UYANIŞ KIZILELMA -'s goalkeeper Akif Eğriöz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honduras's Christian Sancho quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Birdal Başkurt, made in the 97th minute of the game. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honduras's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because TR - UYANIŞ KIZILELMA - had won, even though Honduras had held more of the ball.
