Nicanor Porfirio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita got control of the ball when Uriel Isias tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 6th minute Juniors FC were awarded a corner. Wlodzimierz Lepper went to the cornerflag to take it. After 7 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Rubio. Uriel Isias's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ricardo Zorita firmly grabbed it by the left post. Uriel Isias received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ricardo Zorita came out and tried to block the shot, but Uriel Isias slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Juniors FC's Uriel Isias slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ricardo Zorita. That made the score 2-0 after 12 minutes of play. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Uriel Isias took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Ricardo Zorita to make any attempt to save it. Uriel Isias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save El Salvador from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd minute, Uriel Isias made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. El Salvador's Luis Rubio managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eduardo Gervaso in the 25 minute of the game. Thanks to some nice moves Uriel Isias could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Ricardo Zorita however easily saved by the left post. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by El Salvador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Wlodzimierz Lepper was slow to take the kick. During this time Juniors FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Matias Panpili got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 5-0. 30 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Juniors FC's Uriel Isias dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-0. The supporters of Juniors FC booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Uriel Isias could shoot a difficult shot in the 37th minute, which Ricardo Zorita however easily saved by the left post. Ricardo Zorita was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Uriel Isias showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 7-0 in the 39 minute of play. After some careless play in the El Salvador defense, Uriel Isias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Uriel Isias to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uriel Isias in the 52nd minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Uriel Isias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Zorita was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. Juniors FC's Enrique Frasco was substituted for Uriel Isias. Juniors FC made a substitution. Jerzy Piszczor replaced Daniel Loi. Enrique Frasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. Enrique Frasco took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. In the 70th minute, Enrique Frasco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Juniors FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. Enrique Frasco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardo Zorita having to make a save. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Frasco in the 73rd minute of play. After 75 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Rubio. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 12-0 when Enrique Frasco sped through El Salvador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. Juniors FC's attentive Eduardo Gervaso managed to snatch the ball when Luis Rubio made a throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game. Enrique Frasco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Zorita read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. After some careless play in the El Salvador defense, Enrique Frasco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot. A very good chance for a goal. 95 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Frasco came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Juniors FC were the better team. Juniors FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
