Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Corderro. In the 7th minute, Mariano Corderro made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Mariano Corderro sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Trinchera FC's Mariano Corderro shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. After having played for 23 minutes, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Noboa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute, Jacobo Cisco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Dimas in the 27th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Mariano Corderro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Corderro in the 33rd minute of play. Herminio Roderigo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Axel Tasis went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. In the 38th minute, Eloy Dimas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trinchera FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a free kick in the 44th minute. Mariano Corderro came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Benito Sanz could save by the left post. Axel Tasis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-1.

Eloy Dimas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abel Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. The supporters of Trinchera FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rdth minute of the game Eloy Dimas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Prudencio Matxin's late challenge caught a Costa Rica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Prudencio Matxin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Trinchera FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Trinchera FC's Ryuji Laprise. But to his dismay, Ryuji Laprise quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. In the 74th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Carballo to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Ferrant hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryuji Laprise in the 80th minute of play. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Ubaldo Poncio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Ryuji Laprise blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Ryuji Laprise's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game.
