Severiano Santo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franky Van Der Elst in the 11th minute of the match. After 15 minutes Amboy FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dave Fleming who took care of the corner kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Ian Webb advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-0 in the 15th minute. Amboy FC's Severiano Santo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ken Blackwater in the 18th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Israel Montae left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Amboy FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 42nd minute, José Luis Cuciuffo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 45 minutes into the game, Memphis Grizzlies's José Luis Cuciuffo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severiano Santo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Franky Van Der Elst made a kick off. In the 52nd minute José Luis Cuciuffo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Santo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 54 minutes, Franky Van Der Elst mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Memphis Grizzlies and the Amboy FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Franky Van Der Elst kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After 55 played minutes Memphis Grizzlies got a freekick which was hit by José Luis Cuciuffo. After some careless play in the Amboy FC defense, José Luis Cuciuffo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Severiano Santo. The Amboy FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severiano Santo should have stopped the shot. Severiano Santo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Luis Cuciuffo in the 68th minute of the match. Memphis Grizzlies's attentive Ken Blackwater managed to snatch the ball when Joaquin Ipar made a throw-in in the 77th minute of the game. Franz Henry took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Severiano Santo. Severiano Santo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Severiano Santo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ken Blackwater, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the game, Jaime Ekhi threw the ball into play from the sideline. Memphis Grizzlies's Ken Blackwater quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Franz Henry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Severiano Santo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franz Henry, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Filomeno Pio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amboy FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
