In the 24th minute Falcão Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodney Church saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adalberto Vianna kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Gil dos Santos took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Rodney Church to make any attempt to save it. 40 minutes into the match, Memphis Grizzlies's goalkeeper Rodney Church had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Falcão Marques. Rodney Church made an important save on a dangerous shot by Falcão Marques in the 41st minute. After the first half the score was level. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Falcão Marques made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Gil dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodney Church saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Memphis Grizzlies's Dave Fleming got a free kick in the 54th minute. After 55 played minutes, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's João Vítor Alves shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rodney Church came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rondinone F.C - FDFDF reached it. After a rather tough play, Memphis Grizzlies's Dave Fleming got a free kick in the 56th minute. With an all-out effort, Memphis Grizzlies's Charles Sarmento threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Luís Eduardo Arce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodney Church having to interfere. Charles Sarmento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lance Mowlem in the 94th minute of play.
