But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicanor Macerio couldn't finish the play. Inocencio Jokin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the game, Oflador FC 2003's Nicanor Macerio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severiano Santo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Esteve Espiridion was a little too slow when Inocencio Jokin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-1. Esteve Espiridion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Pio in the 30th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Oflador FC 2003's Gualterio Farias got a free kick in the 31st minute. Esteve Espiridion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filomeno Pio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Nicanor Macerio came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Oflador FC 2003 fans jumped to their feet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Macerio in the 36th minute of play forced Amboy FC's goalkeeper Severiano Santo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 37 minutes, Maximino Aznaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Amboy FC and the Oflador FC 2003 players grew even worse after the yellow card. 38 minutes into the game, Nicanor Macerio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Severiano Santo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicanor Macerio went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 43 minutes into the match, Oflador FC 2003's goalkeeper Esteve Espiridion had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filomeno Pio. After some careless play in the Oflador FC 2003 defense, Filomeno Pio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esteve Espiridion. The Oflador FC 2003 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esteve Espiridion should have stopped the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernando Gonzo was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Nicanor Macerio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Severiano Santo was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. In the 57th minute Nicanor Macerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Santo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd match minute, Oflador FC 2003 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Videl to maneuver through the defense. Israel Montae received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Esteve Espiridion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Gonzo might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Severiano Santo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando Gonzo ran back to his position shaking his head. Fernando Gonzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severiano Santo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicanor Macerio's shot from short distance in the 98th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
