Joaquin Teyo's late challenge caught a Howling Dawn U18's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerard Way blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Esteve Espiridion having to make a save. After 5 minutes of play, Howling Dawn U18's Axl Rose made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Esteve Espiridion was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 9 minutes Howling Dawn U18's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ruperto Erlantz who took care of the corner kick. After 10 minutes, Angel Raymon made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Howling Dawn U18's Santos Hori tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerard Way in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esteve Espiridion prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Gerard Way came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Howling Dawn U18 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerard Way couldn't finish the play. 1-2 became the score in the 17th minute when Axl Rose elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Oflador FC 2003's zone, Axl Rose stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteve Espiridion came out of the goal and Axl Rose tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santos Hori made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Nicanor Macerio sent off a good shot on target. Esteve Espiridion stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axl Rose's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. In the 29th match minute, Howling Dawn U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Mergildo to maneuver through the defense. After 46 played minutes Oflador FC 2003 got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Macerio. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Axl Rose made the kick off in the second half. Axl Rose received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Esteve Espiridion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Macerio in the 55th minute of play forced Howling Dawn U18's goalkeeper Santos Hori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
