The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Academia Club's Javier Fero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pisit Sinanan in the 4th minute of play. If Alejo Maties had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Javier Fero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Ohaco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th match minute, Academia Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Kiliz to maneuver through the defense. Javier Fero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pisit Sinanan in the 9th minute of the match. After 16 played minutes Academia Club got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Corderun. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pisit Sinanan in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Javier Fero saved Academia Club from getting behind. Javier Fero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cipriano Lorien's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Pisit Sinanan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Momentum FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pisit Sinanan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Javier Fero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Academia Club defense, Cipriano Lorien kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Javier Fero. The Academia Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Javier Fero should have stopped the shot. Javier Fero came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Momentum FC's Cipriano Lorien. But to his dismay, Cipriano Lorien quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Javier Fero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Lorien, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Javier Fero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Lorien in the 47th minute of the match. Javier Fero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pisit Sinanan went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After the first half Momentum FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Pisit Sinanan made the kick off in the second half. Pisit Sinanan scored 0-7 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Javier Fero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Academia Club's Cipriano Corderun got a free kick in the 65th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pisit Sinanan in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Javier Fero saved Academia Club from getting behind. In the 71st minute, Pisit Sinanan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Javier Fero was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. The referee felt a red card was in order, 76 minutes into the game, when Moises Telesforo put in a rough tackle. In the 77th match minute, Academia Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Telesforo to maneuver through the defense. Cipriano Lorien blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Javier Fero having to make a save. In the 80th match minute, Academia Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Ponce to maneuver through the defense. Academia Club's Javier Fero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Academia Club from getting a goal against them. In the 91st minute, Academia Club's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cipriano Lorien fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the match was over Momentum FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Academia Club throughout the match.
