After a rather tough play, Deportivo Balvanera's Venancio Chaime got a free kick in the 5th minute. After 6 minutes, Beto Viana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ITAFUT 4EVER and the Deportivo Balvanera players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to ITAFUT 4EVER getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Beto Viana hit a great ball. In the 8th minute, Cléber Palmeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bonifacio Petrigai hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, ITAFUT 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebio Lehoi came free, but Ernesto Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute Leandro Cordarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Santiago Sosa's late challenge caught a ITAFUT 4EVER's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Estevez Palmeira couldn't finish the play. Beto Viana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Deportivo Balvanera's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Mineiro came free, but Abel Neron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in ITAFUT 4EVER's zone, Rene Restu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Varela came out of the goal and Rene Restu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jose Aritza in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernesto Varela saved ITAFUT 4EVER from getting behind. 88 minutes into the match, ITAFUT 4EVER's goalkeeper Ernesto Varela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bonifacio Petrigai. After 94 played minutes ITAFUT 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Beto Viana.
