Moises Telesforo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomás Kiliz kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 12thth minute of the game Karl-Heinz Rummenigge who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academia Club's Javier Fero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Academia Club's Javier Fero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Heinz Rummenigge in the 14th minute of play. José Luis Cuciuffo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Javier Fero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Javier Fero made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Dave Fleming sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Heinz Rummenigge got free with Javier Fero in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Memphis Grizzlies's zone, Remigio Jerano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gez Winship came out of the goal and Remigio Jerano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd play minute José Luis Cuciuffo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Javier Fero. 3-0. 26 minutes into the match, Academia Club's goal looked a bit too open when José Luis Cuciuffo came free, but Javier Fero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dave Fleming sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Academia Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when José Luis Cuciuffo scored to the left of an out of position Javier Fero, making the score, 4-0. After a rather tough play, Academia Club's Bonifacio Mark got a free kick in the 34th minute. Javier Fero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Fleming, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After 37 minutes, Tomás Kiliz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Academia Club and the Memphis Grizzlies players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tomás Kiliz hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Academia Club's Javier Fero got control of the ball when José Luis Cuciuffo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dave Fleming came free with the goalkeeper in the 39th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Javier Fero could save by the left post. 40 minutes into the match, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Academia Club's Javier Fero. Javier Fero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José Luis Cuciuffo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Dave Fleming shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Fero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, José Luis Cuciuffo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Javier Fero. Academia Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Luis Cuciuffo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. The Memphis Grizzlies fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Memphis Grizzlies's José Luis Cuciuffo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Javier Fero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 74 minutes into the game, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Javier Fero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 78 minutes into the game, Peter Wiltshire cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Javier Fero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dave Fleming received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Javier Fero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl-Heinz Rummenigge's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. There was no doubt that Memphis Grizzlies were the better team. Memphis Grizzlies's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
