Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axl Rose in the 2nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Neron prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Howling Dawn U18's Everardo Garoa got a free kick in the 6th minute. Axl Rose took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abel Neron. Abel Neron dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, Howling Dawn U18's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Cordarin came free, but Santos Hori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leandro Cordarin in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santos Hori saved Howling Dawn U18 from getting behind. Deportivo Balvanera's Abel Neron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axl Rose in the 13th minute of play. Everardo Garoa hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Santos Hori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Aritza in the 19th minute of play. Santos Hori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Placido Cordarell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Axl Rose shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Neron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abel Neron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axl Rose in the 24th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Balvanera's zone, Axl Rose stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abel Neron came out of the goal and Axl Rose tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Juan Bittor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Howling Dawn U18's Santos Hori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Aritza in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, Howling Dawn U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Bittor to maneuver through the defense. When Ramiro Quin fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Balvanera's protests and gave Ramiro Quin a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Cordarin in the 46th minute of play forced Howling Dawn U18's goalkeeper Santos Hori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramiro Quin was shown his second yellow card after 46 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 47 played minutes Deportivo Balvanera got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Quin. Axl Rose blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abel Neron having to make a save. If Axl Rose had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axl Rose was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axl Rose got free with Abel Neron in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Howling Dawn U18 booed when Deportivo Balvanera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Cordarell didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 61 played minutes Deportivo Balvanera got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Chaime. Abel Neron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerard Way in the 62nd minute of play. Gerard Way sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abel Neron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axl Rose in the 68th minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Jose Aritza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Balvanera fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Astor Manilan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Abel Neron made a huge save. Jose Aritza hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Abel Neron made an important save on a dangerous shot by Scott Weiland in the 90th minute. Abel Neron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Astor Manilan, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 93 minutes into the match, Howling Dawn U18's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Aritza came free, but Santos Hori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Howling Dawn U18 getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Everardo Garoa hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Howling Dawn U18 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
