The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Michael Kellaway the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Memphis Grizzlies protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Michael Kellaway had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 12 minutes into the game, one of Memphis Grizzlies:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 16th minute Dave Fleming shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Santo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filomeno Pio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Gez Winship made a huge save. Gez Winship was a little too slow when Maximino Aznaro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-0. Amboy FC's Jaime Ekhi got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ian Webb during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Memphis Grizzlies's Ian Webb got a free kick in the 24th minute. Filomeno Pio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Gez Winship made a huge save. Severiano Santo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franky Van Der Elst in the 28th minute of the match. If Israel Montae had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franky Van Der Elst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severiano Santo having to interfere.

Memphis Grizzlies's Gez Winship played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filomeno Pio in the 59th minute of play. The supporters of Memphis Grizzlies booed when Amboy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anier Fernado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Memphis Grizzlies's Gez Winship played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filomeno Pio in the 64th minute of play. Gez Winship came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Amboy FC's Inocencio Jokin. But to his dismay, Inocencio Jokin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Memphis Grizzlies made a substitution. Franz Henry replaced José Luis Cuciuffo. In the 70th minute of the match Anier Fernado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gez Winship showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Amboy FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Baldomiro Cloyo hit a great ball. In the 81st minute, Peter Wiltshire reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Severiano Santo. The goal made the score 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Amboy FC's zone, Peter Wiltshire stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severiano Santo came out of the goal and Peter Wiltshire tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amboy FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
