After 6 minutes of play, Deportivo Balvanera's Leandro Cordarin made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Javier Fero was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 12th minute Leandro Cordarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Fero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Deportivo Balvanera's Octavio Pes in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Academia Club's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Deportivo Balvanera getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Gilberto Inautzi hit a great ball. In the 27th minute, Remigio Jerano made a precise shot to the right of Abel Neron. Deportivo Balvanera's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. 30 minutes into the match, Eusebio Lehoi notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Academia Club's Javier Fero. Javier Fero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 35 played minutes Academia Club got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Mark. When Deportivo Balvanera's Leandro Cordarin in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Academia Club's goalie prevented a goal. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Academia Club's goalkeeper Javier Fero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Javier Fero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Cordarin in the 40th minute of play. Eusebio Lehoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Javier Fero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jose Aritza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute, Leandro Cordarin made a precise shot to the right of Javier Fero. Academia Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. 49 minutes into the match, Leandro Cordarin notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Academia Club's Javier Fero. Javier Fero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Deportivo Balvanera were leading 1-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leandro Cordarin made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Ramiro Quin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Javier Fero was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. Jose Aritza received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Javier Fero came out and tried to block the shot, but Jose Aritza slotted it home off the left post making it 1-8 in the 61st minute. 64 minutes into the match, Academia Club's goalkeeper Javier Fero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eusebio Lehoi. Javier Fero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Aritza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Academia Club's zone, Bonifacio Petrigai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Javier Fero came out of the goal and Bonifacio Petrigai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Deportivo Balvanera made a substitution. Florencio Paz replaced Lorenzo Berto. Deportivo Balvanera's Rene Restu was substituted for Ramiro Quin. Jose Aritza took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Javier Fero. Javier Fero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-9. The long shot by Leandro Cordarin in the 82nd minute really tested Javier Fero's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Javier Fero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leandro Cordarin in the 86th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Jose Aritza recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Javier Fero. Jose Aritza showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-10. Javier Fero was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rene Restu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-11 in the 93 minute of play. In the 98th minute, Rene Restu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Javier Fero was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-12. Deportivo Balvanera's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
