Fernando Gonzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gez Winship having to interfere. Esteve Espiridion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Luis Cuciuffo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucio Berdoi hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Esteve Espiridion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Luis Cuciuffo in the 16th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Oflador FC 2003's zone, José Luis Cuciuffo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteve Espiridion came out of the goal and José Luis Cuciuffo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the match, Nicanor Macerio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gez Winship. Memphis Grizzlies's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicanor Macerio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Garry Nancy hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the match, Memphis Grizzlies's goalkeeper Gez Winship had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicanor Macerio. In the 29th minute, Franky Van Der Elst hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 32 played minutes Memphis Grizzlies got a freekick which was hit by Harry Johnson. Nicanor Macerios short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Gez Winship to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A sloppy throw-in by Harry Johnson in the 36th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Oflador FC 2003's Lucio Berdoi. Cayetano Aurken kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. José Luis Cuciuffo hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Franky Van Der Elst stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Ruperto Erlantz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oflador FC 2003's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Memphis Grizzlies the free kick. Ruperto Erlantz kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After 55 minutes Oflador FC 2003's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dave Fleming who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Memphis Grizzlies's Harry Johnson getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. A collision led to Memphis Grizzlies getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Ian Webb hit a great ball. Harry Johnson hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicanor Macerio couldn't finish the play.
