The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cipriano Corderun during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 10 played minutes Academia Club got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Corderun. Javier Fero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pisit Sinanan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Academia Club's goal looked a bit too open when Pisit Sinanan came free, but Javier Fero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Academia Club defense, Vicente Ibar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Javier Fero. The Academia Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Javier Fero should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Academia Club getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Pascual Burni hit a great ball. A hard shot by Pisit Sinanan from long distance, 19 minutes into the match, got Javier Fero's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Ignacio Patxi in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Javier Fero, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Vicente Ibar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Javier Fero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomás Kiliz during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 41 played minutes Academia Club got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Kiliz. Ignacio Patxi scored 6-0 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Javier Fero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pisit Sinanan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Momentum FC's Horacio Igon got a free kick in the 56th minute. A collision led to Momentum FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Horacio Igon hit a great ball. Javier Fero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Ohaco in the 58th minute of the match. Javier Fero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Ibar in the 63rd minute of play. When Horacio Igon came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Momentum FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horacio Igon couldn't finish the play. 65 minutes into the match, Vicente Ibar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Javier Fero. Academia Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vicente Ibar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Javier Fero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Ohaco, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute Horacio Igon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Fero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Vicente Ibar put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Javier Fero. After a defensive mix-up in Academia Club's zone, Pisit Sinanan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Javier Fero came out of the goal and Pisit Sinanan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Javier Fero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pisit Sinanan went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Vicente Ibar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Momentum FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vicente Ibar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Javier Fero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Tomás Kiliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute Pisit Sinanan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Fero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
