Andréas Linquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Montenegro in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andréas Linquist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 14th minute Santino Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andréas Linquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Abram Sarmiento notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Grêmio Papão de WC's Andréas Linquist. Andréas Linquist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Grêmio Papão de WC's attentive Stayko Vakareliyski managed to snatch the ball when Luis Cazalla made a throw-in in the 74th minute of the game. When Gergely Takács came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Grêmio Papão de WC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gergely Takács couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Marcus Rashford stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Marcus Rashford tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Colombia booed when Grêmio Papão de WC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovanildo Zago didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 88 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Luis Cazalla. After 91 played minutes Colombia's Pascual Carballar stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Andréas Linquist stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Grêmio Papão de WC of the goal.
